MEET-Up --*Chi-Up*
'Chi' RUNNING at the *Brooklyn Bridge*( Manhattan side)
Learn to run Effortlessly, Injury Free and Pleasurably!! :)
This class will consist of a run and a cold beverage after. Your first drink is on us!
 Led by Annette Kiider- Marathoner, Elite Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Prenatal and Postpartum Certified
and Joel IRON Matalon- Ironman Triathlete, Personal Trainer, National and International Chi Running certified trainer
In this class you will create your perfect posture and will learn to use gravity to pull you forward. Thus reducing effort, injury and discomfort. Based on principles of T'ai chi. Add a little power and energy of running. You'll be running faster and have more energy than ever before!!
Class begins promptly at 7:00pm and runs for 1 hour until 8:00pm. We will have instruction for about 20 minutes on Chi Running and then go for a RUN :).
We will run up Broadway, make a left at Waverly place going west. Then we will have drinks at Brad's Cafe at 10 Waverly Place on Corner of Mercer and Waverly place. Be prepared to make great friendships for life!!!

Practice ChiRunning™. This revolutionary, (ever evolving) approach to effortless, energy efficient, injury free running was developed by ultra-marathoner Danny Dreyer. ChiRunning™ differs from traditional running in that the focus is on FORM first, then distance, then speed. Most people train to run in the opposite order and they experience pain and sometimes injury. The “goal of ChiRunning™ is to be able to feel great and “built up” after a workout. ChiRunning™ is a practice similar to Yoga and Pilates or Tai Chi. Eventually with practice ChiRunning™ becomes second nature. This program is brought to the Northeast by New York City based ChiRunning™ instructor/personal trainer and USA triathlon coach Joel Matalon.Classes and Workshops are updated regularly.
